Horses are NOT placed on a first paid first placed basis; the right home is what we want for our horses. We will do site checks twice a year on all adoptions for Miller’s Horses.

By signing below, the buyer understands that Miller’s makes no representations or warranties concerning any horse offered for adoption through the programs, including but not limited to the condition, health, temperament, soundness, or fitness for particular purpose. Buyer understands and agrees that Miller’s, its officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, agents, servants, and assigns, are not liable for any representations or misrepresentations concerning any horse offered for adoption through this program; all information listed on the website via www.millersecs.org, and/or divisions thereof, regarding any particular horse is based solely on information provided by the previous owners or authorized caretakers.
I, (adopter), do hereby release Miller’s, its officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, agents, servants, and assigns (collectively “Releases”) of and from any liability arising from representations, misrepresentations, care and handling of the horses offered for sale via www.millersecs.org, or any divisions thereof. I further agree that Releases are not liable for the mistakes and/or negligence and/or intentional acts of service providers and/or contractors such as livestock haulers, veterinarians, or handlers who may at any time be in the care, custody and control of the horse I am adopting. I understand that I may pursue claims against such third parties for any damages caused by mistakes, negligence and/or intentional acts of such third parties during the time that my horse is in their care, custody and control.

Signing this application authorizes Miller’s (Miller’s Equestrian Center and Sanctuary) to contact the above listed references and inquire about your equine experience. It is agreed that the said animal will not be offered for sale ever but returned to Miller’s free of charge when no longer wanted or useable. Miller’s will come and view the horse twice a year to assure good treatment and conditions. Adopters are to make changes as suggested by Miller’s in the case of proper care of the animal. Miller’s needs to be notified by the owner if the animal has a serious injury or dies. Miller’s may help out with injuries or conditions that are life threatening. Ginger is being adopted out with a notification of BREEDING Clause, she is for Trail riding or Western/English Pleasure only, no roping or barrels or excessive work.
In the event the undersigned fails to comply with the terms of this Application and Agreement, Miller’s reserves the right to commence legal proceedings to recover the horse, and the undersigned shall be liable for all costs, inclusive of attorney’s fees, in connection with such legal proceeding.
